Inspired by nature, this one-of-a-kind sculpture suggests a butterfly floating along a vine wrapped stalk. When triggered by the wind the butterfly swings up and down within a defined range.
Steel fragments are welded into a lace-like construction. The butterfly and tail are brass and brown coloured and the sculpture’s base is mottled brown and black. A polymer top coat protects it from the elements. The sculpture can be either set on the ground unsecured, bolted down using the four mounting holes or attached to an included 1″ thick acrylic base plate for added stability.
